Description

A quick and healthy ground turkey and peppers dish, packed with flavor and easy to customize for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 3 bell peppers (red, yellow, green)
  • 1 onion (sweet or yellow)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Chop bell peppers and onion into bite-sized pieces, and mince garlic.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and bell peppers, and sauté for 5–7 minutes until soft and starting to caramelize.
  3. Add ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon. Cook until browned, about 10 minutes.
  4. Add minced garlic and spices, stirring well; cook for another 2 minutes.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning as desired. Serve hot.

Notes

Serve on rice or in lettuce wraps. Consider adding shredded cheese or sour cream.
