Description

Festive Grinch Cookies that bring holiday cheer with their vibrant green color and sweet, soft texture.


Ingredients

  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tsp green food coloring
  • 1 cup red candies (M&M’s or similar)


Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Cream Butter and Sugars: Beat together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add Egg and Vanilla: Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Add Color: Add green food coloring until desired shade is achieved.
  6. Combine Wet and Dry: Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
  7. Fold in Red Candies: Gently fold in your red candies.
  8. Scoop the Dough: Drop balls of dough onto a lined baking sheet.
  9. Bake: Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  10. Cool and Enjoy: Allow cooling on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
