- 1 cup red candies (M&M’s or similar)
Instructions
- Preheat Your Oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Cream Butter and Sugars: Beat together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add Egg and Vanilla: Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Add Color: Add green food coloring until desired shade is achieved.
- Combine Wet and Dry: Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in Red Candies: Gently fold in your red candies.
- Scoop the Dough: Drop balls of dough onto a lined baking sheet.
- Bake: Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool and Enjoy: Allow cooling on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Use softened butter and avoid overmixing to ensure soft cookies. Chill the dough for texture improvement.
