- 1 cup vegetable oil

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line 9-inch round cake pans with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
- In another bowl, mix together vegetable oil, eggs, buttermilk, vanilla extract, and green food coloring until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined; do not overmix.
- Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cakes cool in the pans for about 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cool, frost the cakes with cream cheese frosting.
