Description

A festive twist on classic Rice Krispie treats with warm gingerbread flavors, perfect for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  2. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
  3. Add mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
  4. Mix in molasses, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Remove from heat and fold in Rice Krispies cereal until evenly coated.
  6. Transfer mixture to the prepared baking dish and press down evenly.
  7. Allow to cool completely, then cut into squares and enjoy!
