Description
Tender, juicy steak pieces cooked in a mouthwatering garlic butter sauce, paired with shell pasta.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound steak (sirloin recommended)
- 12 ounces shell pasta
- 2-3 tablespoons butter
- 4-6 cloves garlic, minced
- Olive oil (for sautéing)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the shell pasta in a pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, drizzling with olive oil to prevent sticking.
- Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the steak pieces in batches for 2-3 minutes on each side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium, add butter and let it melt. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Add the steak back to the skillet and mix in the drained shell pasta, combining thoroughly. If necessary, add more olive oil or a splash of pasta water to achieve a desired consistency.
- Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
Don’t overcook the steak. Using fresh garlic enhances flavor significantly.
