Description

Tender, juicy steak pieces cooked in a mouthwatering garlic butter sauce, paired with shell pasta.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound steak (sirloin recommended)
  • 12 ounces shell pasta
  • 2-3 tablespoons butter
  • 4-6 cloves garlic, minced
  • Olive oil (for sautéing)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the shell pasta in a pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, drizzling with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  2. Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the steak pieces in batches for 2-3 minutes on each side. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium, add butter and let it melt. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  5. Add the steak back to the skillet and mix in the drained shell pasta, combining thoroughly. If necessary, add more olive oil or a splash of pasta water to achieve a desired consistency.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

Don’t overcook the steak. Using fresh garlic enhances flavor significantly.
