- 4 cups green beans (fresh or frozen)
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk (or a dairy-free alternative)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 cup French fried onions
- 1 cup shredded cheese (optional, such as cheddar or mozzarella)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- If using fresh green beans, trim and cut them into bite-sized pieces. Drain frozen or canned beans.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and half of the French fried onions. Stir until smooth.
- Add the green beans to the sauce mixture and stir to coat evenly.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 baking dish and spread evenly.
- Top with the remaining French fried onions and cheese if using.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, until bubbling and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
