Description

Delightful cookies infused with the nostalgic flavor of cotton candy, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour (or gluten-free flour blend)
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened (or coconut oil)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (or brown sugar)
  • 2 tsp cotton candy flavored extract
  • 1 large egg (or flax egg)
  • ½ cup sprinkles (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt; whisk and set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (2-3 minutes).
  4. Add the egg and cotton candy extract; mix until well combined.
  5. Slowly add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients and combine until no dry flour is visible.
  6. If using sprinkles, gently fold them in.
  7. Using a cookie scoop, drop the dough onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space between each mound.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set but the center is soft.
  9. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
