- 1 sheet Puff Pastry
- 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter, melted
- 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
- 2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
- 1 Egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Unroll the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
- Brush melted butter over the pastry.
- Sprinkle a layer of sugar and ground cinnamon on top.
- Cut the pastry into strips, about 1 inch wide.
- Twist each strip a couple of times and arrange them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Beat the egg and brush it over each twist.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
- Let them cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Chill the dough to prevent it from getting too warm. You can freeze the unbaked twists for later use.
