Description

Delicious flaky pastries with a warm cinnamon-sugar filling, perfect for breakfast or brunch.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet Puff Pastry
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Unroll the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Brush melted butter over the pastry.
  4. Sprinkle a layer of sugar and ground cinnamon on top.
  5. Cut the pastry into strips, about 1 inch wide.
  6. Twist each strip a couple of times and arrange them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Beat the egg and brush it over each twist.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  9. Let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Chill the dough to prevent it from getting too warm. You can freeze the unbaked twists for later use.
