Description

A delightful appetizer featuring creamy gorgonzola, sweet pears, and a peppery arugula on a crispy flatbread base.


Ingredients

  • 1 flatbread
  • 100g gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
  • 2 ripe pears, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup fresh arugula, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the flatbread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush it with olive oil.
  3. Crumble the gorgonzola cheese evenly over the flatbread.
  4. Thinly slice the pears and fan them out over the cheese.
  5. Drizzle honey over the top.
  6. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes, until the cheese is melty and bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and sprinkle fresh arugula on top before serving.

Slice pears thinly for even cooking and balance flavors. Use quality cheese and don’t shy away from honey.
