Description

A delightful twist on classic pizza featuring a creamy base, savory mushrooms, and a blend of cheeses on a crispy crust.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pizza dough
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (or melted butter)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz cremini or button mushrooms, sliced
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 oz Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Fresh herbs (parsley or thyme)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Roll out your pizza dough on a floured surface until it’s about 12 inches in diameter.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil and add minced garlic until fragrant. Then, add sliced mushrooms and cook until tender (5-7 minutes). Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Place rolled-out dough onto a pizza stone or baking sheet, brush with olive oil, and top with mozzarella cheese, sautéed mushrooms, Parmesan, and fresh herbs.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and crust is golden brown.
  6. Let cool for a few minutes, slice, and enjoy!
