Description

A creamy and indulgent frozen yogurt with a rich salted caramel flavor, perfect for warm days.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup salted caramel sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the Greek yogurt and heavy cream together until smooth.
  2. Stir in the powdered sugar until completely incorporated.
  3. Mix in the salted caramel sauce and vanilla extract. Taste and adjust the caramel if desired.
  4. Cover the mixture and chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
  5. Churn the mixture in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer’s instructions, or pour into a shallow dish and freeze for 2-3 hours, stirring every 30 minutes until it reaches soft-serve consistency.
  6. Transfer to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours for a firmer texture.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use full-fat Greek yogurt. Use dairy-free yogurt for a lower-calorie version.
