Description

A delightful dish of warm roasted pears topped with blue cheese, walnuts, and honey, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ripe pears (Bartlett or Bosc)
  • 100g blue cheese, crumbled
  • 70g walnuts, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Wash and slice the pears in half lengthwise. Scoop out the seeds.
  3. Place the pear halves cut side up on a baking tray. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  4. Roast the pears in the oven for 20-25 minutes, until soft but still holding their shape.
  5. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with crumbled blue cheese and chopped walnuts, then drizzle honey over the top.
  6. Return to the oven for another 5-10 minutes until the cheese melts slightly and the walnuts are toasted.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. They can be enjoyed cold or reheated gently.
