Description

Delightful minty cookies rolled in powdered sugar, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon mint extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (dark, semi-sweet, or mint-flavored)
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Stir in the vanilla and mint extracts.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour and any optional nuts. Gradually add this mixture to the butter-sugar combo, mixing just until combined.
  5. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop out small balls of dough (about a tablespoon each) and place them on a lined baking sheet, leaving space in between.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack. Once cooled, roll them in powdered sugar.
  9. Enjoy your minty creations!

Notes

Chill the dough for easier handling. Adjust mint extract based on your preference.
