- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon mint extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chocolate chips (dark, semi-sweet, or mint-flavored)
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Stir in the vanilla and mint extracts.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour and any optional nuts. Gradually add this mixture to the butter-sugar combo, mixing just until combined.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop out small balls of dough (about a tablespoon each) and place them on a lined baking sheet, leaving space in between.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack. Once cooled, roll them in powdered sugar.
