Description

A healthier alternative to classic candy bars, these Easy Date Snickers Bars combine sweet dates, creamy peanut butter, crunchy nuts, and rich chocolate for a delicious snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
  • 1/2 cup roasted peanuts
  • 100g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil


Instructions

  1. Remove the pits from the Medjool dates and place them in a food processor. Blitz until smooth, creating a sticky paste.
  2. In a bowl, mix the date paste with the peanut butter until well combined. Add roasted peanuts and mix gently.
  3. Press the mixture into a lined baking dish, ensuring it’s even.
  4. Melt the dark chocolate with the coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth, stirring until shiny.
  5. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the pressed mixture, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
  6. Chill for a couple of hours until the chocolate hardens.
  7. Slice into bars and enjoy!

Notes

Ensure dates are fresh for the best texture. You can substitute coconut oil with vegetable oil if needed.
