Description

A simple and delicious crockpot chicken recipe that transforms humble chicken into a comforting meal with minimal effort.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Chicken breasts or thighs (boneless or bone-in)
  • 2 cups chicken broth or stock (low-sodium)
  • 2 cups vegetables (like carrots, potatoes, and onions)
  • 2 cloves garlic (fresh or powdered)
  • Your favorite seasonings (such as paprika, thyme, and black pepper)
  • Optional add-ins (like cream cheese or salsa)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken by thawing and seasoning both sides with your favorite spices.
  2. Chop your vegetables and place them at the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. Add the seasoned chicken on top of the veggies.
  4. Pour in enough broth to cover the chicken and veggies.
  5. Set the crockpot to cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and mix everything together.

Notes

Don’t overcrowd the crockpot for even cooking. Feel free to experiment with different proteins and spices.
