Description

Soft, fluffy buns filled with juicy, spicy chicken and topped with melted cheddar cheese, perfect for parties or a quick lunch.


Ingredients

  • 2 Chicken Breasts, diced and seasoned
  • 4 oz Cream Cheese
  • 2-4 tbsp Hot Sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 4 Buns (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 Green Onions, chopped
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder


Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the diced chicken until it’s golden and fully cooked through.
  2. In a bowl, combine the cooked chicken, cream cheese, hot sauce, green onions, and seasonings. Stir until everything is well combined.
  3. Slice the buns in half if using store-bought, or prepare homemade buns.
  4. Spoon the chicken mixture generously onto the bun halves.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of the chicken filling.
  6. Place the buns on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 12-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

You can use shredded rotisserie chicken or Greek yogurt as substitutes. These buns can be frozen before baking.
