- 4 ripe pears (Bartlett or Anjou)
- 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled (or goat cheese)
- 1/4 cup honey (or maple syrup/agave)
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped (or pecans)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Wash, peel (optional), and slice the pears in half, removing the core.
- In a bowl, mix crumbled feta, honey, and walnuts, adding cinnamon if desired.
- Place pear halves cut side up in a baking dish, drizzle with olive oil, and spoon the feta mixture over each half.
- Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes until pears are tender and feta is golden.
- Drizzle with extra honey before serving.
