Ingredients

- 1 boneless, skinless turkey breast
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (or butter)
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, sage)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the turkey breast with salt, pepper, and herbs.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the turkey breast for 5 minutes on each side until golden.
- Layer sliced onions and minced garlic in the crockpot, then add the turkey breast and pour in the chicken broth.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
- Check for doneness (165°F) with a meat thermometer.
- Remove from crockpot, let it rest, slice or shred, and serve.
Notes
Use fresh herbs for brighter flavors. Leftovers are great for sandwiches or salads.
