Description

A comforting and flavorful crockpot round steak dish with tender vegetables, perfect for busy days.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs round steak (top or bottom)
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 4 potatoes, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp paprika or Italian seasoning (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cut the round steak into manageable pieces and prepare the veggies by chopping the carrots, potatoes, and slicing the onion.
  2. Place the steak at the bottom of the crockpot, then layer the chopped vegetables on top.
  3. Pour in enough beef broth to cover the steak and veggies completely.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings as desired.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or on high for 4 to 5 hours until the steak is fork-tender.
