- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 4 potatoes, diced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp paprika or Italian seasoning (optional)
Instructions
- Cut the round steak into manageable pieces and prepare the veggies by chopping the carrots, potatoes, and slicing the onion.
- Place the steak at the bottom of the crockpot, then layer the chopped vegetables on top.
- Pour in enough beef broth to cover the steak and veggies completely.
- Season with salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings as desired.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or on high for 4 to 5 hours until the steak is fork-tender.
