- 2 pounds cubed steak
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Season the cubed steak with salt and pepper.
- Optionally, sear the cubed steak in a pan for 2-3 minutes per side.
- In the crockpot, layer the seared steak, sliced onion, beef broth, cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir gently.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until meat is tender.
- Serve the steak and gravy over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles.
Notes
For a thicker gravy, use less broth or let it cook uncovered in the last hour. Add carrots or potatoes for a heartier meal.
