Description

A cozy dish featuring golden, crispy chicken topped with a luscious garlic cream sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (or panko)
  • 4 cloves fresh minced garlic
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Season the chicken breasts with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  2. Mix breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese in a bowl. Coat each chicken breast well in the mixture.
  3. Heat butter in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes.
  4. In a saucepan, melt some butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, letting it simmer until thickened.
  5. Drizzle the garlic cream sauce over the cooked chicken and serve.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor. Panko can create an even crunchier coating.
