Description

Deliciously spicy and perfectly crispy chicken tenders coated in crunchy batter and tossed with zesty buffalo sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F if baking.
  2. Cut the chicken breasts into tenders.
  3. Set up a dredging station: In one bowl, mix flour with salt and pepper; in another bowl, beat the eggs; and in a third bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs with spices.
  4. Coat each chicken piece in flour, then dip in eggs, and finally, coat with panko mixture.
  5. Arrange on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or fry in oil until golden brown.
  6. Toss cooked chicken in buffalo sauce and serve immediately with ranch or blue cheese dressing.

Notes

For additional crunch, double-dip the chicken in egg and panko. Use gluten-free options for a gluten-free version.
