Description

Deliciously crispy Buffalo chicken wings coated in a spicy sauce, perfect for game day or any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds Chicken Wings
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup Cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1/2 cup Hot Sauce (Frank’s RedHot recommended)
  • 1/2 cup Butter, melted
  • Optional: cayenne pepper, garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, paprika, and any optional seasonings.
  3. Toss the wings in the dry mixture until evenly coated and let them sit for about 10 minutes.
  4. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Carefully drop in a few wings at a time and fry for about 10-12 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Melt the butter in a small saucepan and mix in the hot sauce, stirring until well combined.
  7. Once wings are done frying, let them cool for a minute before tossing them in the sauce until fully coated.
  8. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce and celery sticks.

Notes

For added crispiness, ensure wings are dried thoroughly and avoid overcrowding the frying pot.
