Description

A delightful twist on classic grilled cheese featuring melty cheese and juicy blueberries for a unique flavor combination.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread (sourdough or whole grain)
  • 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese (optional)


Instructions

  1. Spread a thin layer of cream cheese on one slice of bread (optional).
  2. Layer shredded cheddar cheese on top of the cream cheese, followed by fresh blueberries.
  3. Top with another slice of bread.
  4. Spread butter on the outer sides of both slices of bread.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat and grill the sandwich until crispy and brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  6. Slice in half and enjoy it hot!

Notes

For an extra flavor kick, try adding a sprinkle of cinnamon to the blueberries.
