Ingredients

- 2 slices of bread (sourdough or whole grain)
- 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Spread a thin layer of cream cheese on one slice of bread (optional).
- Layer shredded cheddar cheese on top of the cream cheese, followed by fresh blueberries.
- Top with another slice of bread.
- Spread butter on the outer sides of both slices of bread.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and grill the sandwich until crispy and brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Slice in half and enjoy it hot!
Notes
For an extra flavor kick, try adding a sprinkle of cinnamon to the blueberries.
