Description

Deliciously crispy baked turkey tacos filled with seasoned ground turkey and topped with a creamy avocado sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 12 corn or flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish
  • Cooking spray


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cook the ground turkey in a skillet over medium heat until browned; stir in taco seasoning and a splash of water.
  3. Spray each tortilla with cooking spray and shape them in a muffin tin.
  4. Spoon the turkey mixture into each taco shell and top with shredded cheese.
  5. Bake for about 15 minutes or until crispy and cheese is melted.
  6. Blend avocado, Greek yogurt, lime juice, and salt until smooth for the sauce.
  7. Top baked tacos with avocado sauce and garnish with fresh cilantro.
  8. Serve with salsa, guacamole, or salad.
