Description

Delicious and crispy chicken and mozzarella wraps made effortlessly in an air fryer. Perfect for busy weeknights or lazy weekends.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded or fresh)
  • 4 flour tortillas
  • 1 egg (or flax egg for vegan option)
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Olive oil spray


Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken breast into small, bite-sized pieces for even cooking.
  2. Toss the chicken pieces with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Dip each piece of chicken in the beaten egg, then roll in panko breadcrumbs until coated.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place chicken in the fryer basket in a single layer and spritz with olive oil. Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking basket halfway.
  5. Once chicken is cooked, place a few pieces in a tortilla, add mozzarella, and roll tightly.
  6. Place wraps seam-side down in the air fryer and cook for 4-5 minutes until tortillas are golden and cheese is melted.
  7. Slice wraps in half and serve immediately with dipping sauces or as is.
