A quick and delicious creamy pesto sauce pasta that offers a warm hug in a bowl, perfect for busy weeknights or lazy Sundays.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Pasta (penne, fettuccine, or spaghetti)
  • Homemade or store-bought pesto
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
  2. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  3. Add heavy cream and pesto to the pan, simmering for a few minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Draining the pasta, toss it in the sauce until well-coated.
  5. Mix in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper as needed. Serve immediately.

Notes

Tip: For extra flavor, consider adding grilled chicken or shrimp, or a squeeze of lemon before serving.
