Description

A creamy, tangy dip that combines the classic texture of aioli with the sweet, tangy goodness of cranberries. Perfect for holiday gatherings and versatile enough to pair with a variety of dishes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries (or canned cranberry sauce)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Rinse the fresh cranberries and toss them in a saucepan with a tablespoon of water. Cook over medium heat until they burst, about 5 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, minced garlic, and lemon juice. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  3. Fold in the cooked cranberries and the sweetener of your choice. Smash them up a bit for a chunkier aioli.
  4. Add salt to taste and mix until completely combined.
  5. Chill in the fridge for at least an hour to let the flavors meld together.

Notes

For a vegan version, substitute mayonnaise with vegan mayo and honey with maple syrup. Adjust sweetness to taste; let the aioli chill for best flavor.
