Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In another large bowl, blend the sugars, applesauce, eggs, oil, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Transfer the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth out the top.
  6. Bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
