Description

Cowboy Scampi is a delightful twist on traditional shrimp scampi, blending fresh ingredients and bold flavors for a comforting and mouthwatering meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup white wine (or vegetable broth)
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Thaw and pat dry the shrimp if using frozen.
  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  3. Add the shrimp and sprinkle with red pepper flakes, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until shrimp turns pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Pour in white wine and simmer for a couple of minutes. Add fresh lemon juice and stir.
  5. Gently toss in chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Use fresh shrimp for the best flavor. Adjust red pepper flakes to your spice preference.
