- Day-old bread (brioche or challah)
- 1 can condensed milk
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cut the bread into cubes and place them in a greased baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together the condensed milk, milk, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
- Pour the custard mixture over the bread cubes, ensuring they are evenly soaked.
- Let it sit for 10-15 minutes.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with powdered sugar, chocolate or caramel sauce, and a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
