Description

Ingredients

  • 4-6 medium-sized apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Pinch of salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Peel and slice the apples into thin pieces, tossing them with brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, oats, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt, then incorporate the softened butter until crumbly.
  4. Pour the apple mixture into a greased baking dish and sprinkle the crumble topping over the apples.
  5. Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  6. Let it cool slightly before serving.
