Description

Deliciously soft and fluffy biscuit bites rolled in a warm mix of cinnamon and sugar, perfect for brunch or an afternoon snack.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cut into small pieces
  • 3/4 cup milk (any kind)
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for rolling)
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, granulated sugar, and salt.
  3. Add the cold butter and mix until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Pour in the milk and stir until just combined.
  5. Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and pat it into a rectangle about 1-inch thick.
  6. Cut the dough into small squares or rounds.
  7. Mix together the remaining sugar and cinnamon, and roll each biscuit bite in the mixture.
  8. Place on a lined baking sheet and bake for about 15 minutes or until golden.
  9. Let cool slightly before enjoying.
