Description

A cozy breakfast casserole that combines fluffy bread with the delightful flavors of cinnamon rolls, drizzled with a dreamy glaze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk (whole, almond, or oat)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Maple syrup for drizzling
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Open the cinnamon rolls and cut them into quarters.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until combined.
  4. Gently fold the cinnamon roll pieces into the mixture until fully coated.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  6. Let the casserole sit for about 10-15 minutes.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown on top.
  8. Drizzle with icing from the cinnamon roll package while warm.

Notes

Use day-old cinnamon rolls for better texture. Don’t skip the icing for authentic flavor. Let it cool slightly for easier serving.
