- 1/2 cup Butter, softened
- 1/2 cup Cream Cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 large Egg
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 3/4 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar (for drizzling)
- 1 tablespoon Milk (for drizzling)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, blend softened butter and cream cheese until smooth. Mix in brown sugar and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla; combine well.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture, being careful not to overmix.
- Chill the dough in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- On a small plate, mix cinnamon and sugar together.
- Using a cookie scoop, roll chilled dough into balls and coat in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Place on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are slightly golden. Let cool on baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Once cooled, drizzle a mixture of powdered sugar and milk on top.
Notes
Chill the dough for puffy cookies and avoid overmixing. Add more cinnamon if desired.
