Description

A delightful treat that combines the flavors of cinnamon rolls and creamy cheesecake in a soft, chewy cookie.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 3/4 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar (for drizzling)
  • 1 tablespoon Milk (for drizzling)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, blend softened butter and cream cheese until smooth. Mix in brown sugar and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla; combine well.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture, being careful not to overmix.
  3. Chill the dough in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  4. On a small plate, mix cinnamon and sugar together.
  5. Using a cookie scoop, roll chilled dough into balls and coat in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Place on a lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are slightly golden. Let cool on baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  7. Once cooled, drizzle a mixture of powdered sugar and milk on top.

Notes

Chill the dough for puffy cookies and avoid overmixing. Add more cinnamon if desired.
