Description

A cozy dessert made from sweet, pillowy cinnamon rolls soaked in a rich custard mixture for a warm and indulgent treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Cinnamon Rolls
  • 4 Eggs
  • 2 cups Whole Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
  • Butter (for greasing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the cinnamon rolls into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until smooth.
  4. Gently fold in the cinnamon roll pieces and let them soak for 15 minutes.
  5. Grease a baking dish with butter.
  6. Pour the mixture into the dish and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving warm, optionally drizzled with icing.

Notes

Use day-old cinnamon rolls for better absorption. Don’t skip the soaking time for maximum flavor.
