Description

Soft and chewy cookies with a rich flavor of brown butter and warm cinnamon, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Salt


Instructions

  1. Brown the Butter: Melt unsalted butter in a saucepan over medium heat until golden brown (5-7 minutes). Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  2. Mix Sugars: In a mixing bowl, combine brown sugar and granulated sugar. Add brown butter and mix well.
  3. Add Eggs: Crack in eggs and add vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  4. Combine Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Chill the Dough: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat the Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  7. Scoop and Bake: Drop rounded balls of dough on the baking sheet, leaving space in between. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown.
  8. Cool and Enjoy: Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
