- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 splash of milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Mix the dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- Create the wet mixture: In another bowl, beat the eggs, milk, and melted butter together.
- Combine wet and dry: Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Prepare the cinnamon filling: In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Layer and swirl: Pour half of the batter into the baking dish. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon filling, then add the remaining batter and top with the rest of the filling. Use a knife to swirl everything together gently.
- Bake: Pop it in the oven and bake for about 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Make the glaze: While your cake is cooling, mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and a splash of milk until creamy.

Notes
Don’t overmix the batter for a fluffier cake. Cool slightly before glazing for easier drizzling.
