Description

A delicious fusion of churros and classic Rice Krispie treats, coated in cinnamon sugar.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies Cereal
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp melted butter (for topping)
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon sugar (for topping)


Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat.
  2. Add in the mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
  3. Remove from heat and fold in the Rice Krispies cereal.
  4. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and press the mixture evenly into the dish.
  5. Mix the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon and sprinkle it over the treats.
  6. Drizzle melted butter over the cinnamon sugar.
  7. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.

Notes

These treats are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored at room temperature for about a week.
