Description

A rich and creamy chocolate pudding pie with a crunchy, salty pretzel crust that satisfies all your dessert cravings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups pretzels, crushed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 (3.9 oz) box instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups whole milk (or almond/oat milk)
  • 1 cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
  • Whipped cream for topping


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Crush the pretzels and mix with sugar and melted butter. Press firmly into a pie dish and bake for 10 minutes until golden. Cool.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and milk until thickened. Add sour cream and mix until combined.
  3. Pour pudding mixture into the cooled pretzel crust and smooth the top.
  4. Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
  5. Before serving, top with whipped cream and sprinkle with extra pretzel bits.

Notes

Chill the pie long enough to allow the pudding to set. For added crunch, consider topping with chopped pretzels just before serving.
