- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup white chocolate chips or chunks
- Extra powdered sugar for rolling
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together softened butter and powdered sugar until fluffy.
- Add vanilla extract and salt, stirring until well blended.
- Sift together all-purpose flour and cocoa powder, then gently fold into the butter mixture.
- Form a tablespoon of dough into a ball, create an indentation, and place a white chocolate chip inside. Mold the dough around it to encase.
- Place cookies on a lined baking sheet and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10-12 minutes.
- Once cooled, roll each cookie in powdered sugar until fully coated.
Notes
