Description

Delightful and fluffy pastries filled with rich Nutella, perfect for breakfast or a sweet indulgence.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 1 large egg


Instructions

  1. Warm the milk slightly and mix in the sugar and yeast. Let it sit until frothy (5-10 minutes).
  2. In a bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and melted butter; mix until dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover with cloth, and let it rise for 1-2 hours until doubled.
  5. Roll the dough into a ½ inch thick rectangle.
  6. Spread a generous layer of Nutella over the dough.
  7. Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into 12 equal pieces.
  8. Place pieces in a greased baking dish and let them rise for 30-45 minutes.
  9. Preheat oven to 350°F and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm, optionally drizzle with melted chocolate or dust with powdered sugar. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
