- 1 package chocolate sandwich cookies
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 container whipped topping
- 1 package instant chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups milk
- Chocolate shavings or chips for garnish
Instructions
- Crush the chocolate sandwich cookies and combine them with melted butter. Press into a 9×13 inch pan.
- In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in half of the whipped topping, then spread over the cookie base.
- Whisk the instant chocolate pudding with milk according to package instructions and spread over the cream cheese layer.
- Top with remaining whipped topping and smooth it out.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
- Garnish with chocolate shavings or chips before serving.
