Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup peanut butter chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy and light.
  4. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients. Stir until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the chocolate chips and peanut butter chips.
  7. Drop tablespoon-sized scoops of dough onto a lined baking sheet. Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
  8. Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Notes

For thicker cookies, chill the dough for at least 30 minutes. Feel free to mix in nuts or extra peanut butter for added flavor.
