Description

Delightful cookies perfect for bonding with kids, featuring vibrant colors and customizable ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips or sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 3-4 minutes).
  4. Mix in the eggs and vanilla extract until well combined and smooth.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the chocolate chips or sprinkles.
  7. Scoop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned.
  9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a minute before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Don’t overmix the dough and consider chilling it if it’s too sticky. Experiment with various mix-ins for fun flavors!
