Description

Delicious handmade chicken potstickers filled with seasoned chicken, veggies, and a hint of ginger or garlic.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, freshly grated
  • 1 cup carrots, shredded
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 20 dumpling wrappers
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the ground chicken, green onions, garlic, ginger, carrots, and soy sauce until well combined.
  2. Take a dumpling wrapper, place about a tablespoon of filling in the center, dampen the edges with water, fold over, and pinch to seal.
  3. Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat, add potstickers flat side down, and fry for about 5 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Carefully add about 1/4 cup of water, cover the pan, and steam for about 7 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  5. Transfer to a plate, serve hot with soy sauce for dipping.

Notes

Don’t overfill the wrappers to avoid bursting. Pinch edges tightly to seal. You can chill filled wrappers before cooking for better results.
