- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs

- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your baking sheets or line them with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a larger bowl, beat the unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add eggs one at a time and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients, mixing just until combined; avoid overmixing.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and a splash of vanilla until smooth and creamy.
- Take a tablespoon of cookie dough, fill the center with a teaspoon of cheesecake filling, and top it with another tablespoon of cookie dough. Seal the edges well.
- Place the cookies on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
