Description

A delightful fusion of sweet apples and creamy cheesecake filling wrapped in flaky pastry. Perfect for cozy evenings and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 medium apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 pie crusts (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the apples by mixing them with sugar and cinnamon to coat evenly.
  3. Make the cheesecake filling by beating the cream cheese, sugar, egg, and lemon juice until smooth.
  4. Roll out the pie dough into 6-inch circles, needing two for each pie.
  5. Assemble the pies by placing a spoonful of cheesecake mixture and a scoop of apples on one dough circle, topping with another circle and crimping the edges to seal.
  6. Place on a lined baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Use a mix of sweet and tart apples for best flavor. Brush with an egg wash for extra crispiness. Can be frozen before baking.
