- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup melted butter
- 24 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 3 cups diced apples (preferably Granny Smith)
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (162°C).
- Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until it resembles wet sand; press into a greased pan.
- Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth; add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then add vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Gently fold in diced apples into the cheesecake mixture.
- Pour the mixture over the crust and bake for 35-40 minutes, until the center is set but jiggles slightly.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the top; cool completely before chilling in the fridge for at least 4 hours.
- Slice into bars and serve with extra caramel and chopped pecans if desired.
Notes
