Description

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 cups diced apples
  • ¼ cup sugar (for apples)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ cup caramel sauce (for drizzling)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter in a bowl and press into a lined baking dish.
  2. Bake the crust for about 10 minutes until lightly golden, then let it cool.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Toss diced apples with sugar and cinnamon, then spread over the cooled crust before pouring the cheesecake filling on top.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the center is set.
  6. After cooling, drizzle with caramel sauce and chill in the fridge for a couple of hours before slicing.

Notes

For cleaner cuts, let the bars chill before slicing. Use firm apples like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp for the best texture.
